How to Catch Happiny
Happiny can be caught easily from Hearthome City. Walk to the bottom-right corner, next to the Route 209 entrance. Here, you will find a bearded man. Talk to him and he will give you an Egg that will hatch into a Happiny — eggs will naturally hatch once your player has walked enough steps.
Besides this, there is another method for catching a Happiny. Players must navigate to the Pokemon Mansion on Route 212 and then walk to the Trophy Garden in the backyard. There is a small chance of encountering a Happiny in the grass located within the garden.
How to Evolve Happiny into Chansey
To evolve Happiny into Chansey, players must obtain an Oval Stone. Add Happiny to your party, and open your bag. Select the Oval Stone and click Give to Pokemon; equip Happiny with the item. Next, players must level her up once (e.g. level 44 to 45). Upon doing this, the evolution sequence will begin which evolves it into Chansey.
Where to Get an Oval Stone
In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players can not obtain an Oval Stone by mining. Instead, they must navigate to Solaceon Town and head south through Route 209. Almost immediately, they will encounter the Lost Tower.
Once entered, there will be a staircase at the back of the room. Go up them to reach the second floor. Here, there will be an Oval Stone in the middle of the room, in the kid’s line of sight.
How to Evolve Chansey into Blissey
To evolve Chansey into Blissey, players must increase their friendship level. The most effective way of doing this involves obtaining a Soothe Bell and then equipping Chansey with it. Start walking with Chansey, and make sure she doesn’t faint in battle. Doing these will raise your friendship level over time. Once high enough, Chansey will automatically evolve into Blissey.
Where to Get a Soothe Bell
A Soothe Bell can be obtained from the Pokemon Mansion, located south of Hearthome City. From the main entrance, navigate to the left and enter the second door in this hallway. Talk to the green-haired woman, and she will give you a Soothe Bell.
