How To Get False Swipe (TM057)
Getting False Swipe isn’t hard, but it does take a few steps in order to meet the requirements.
To obtain False Swipe, players first need to speak to Professor Jacq in the Biology classroom of the Academy. The Professor will assign players a quest to add 30 different Pokemon to their Pokedex.
From there, players must explore the Paldea region, until they’ve obtained 30 different types of Pokemon and logged them into the Pokedex.
Once players have completed the task, they can return to Professor Jacq and turn in the completed quest. Professor Jacq will then reward the player with the False Swipe TM057

How To Craft False Swipe (TM057)
Players can use any TM Machine (Technical Machine Machine) to craft False Swipe, as long as they’ve obtained the proper crafting ingredients. For each False Swipe a player wants to craft, they’ll need:
- 400 LP (League Points)
- 3 Kricketot Shells
- 3 Chewtle Claws
There are TM Machines at every Pokemon Center in the Region, and players can do whatever crafting they want to do there.

False Swipe (TM057) is a Normal Type damage dealing attack that can be taught to any Pokemon that uses slashing moves as part of its repertoire.
It’s considered best used with Gallade, Scizor or Scyther, or similar types of Pokemon.
It also does well when used with Pokemon like Garchomp.
Players can add False Swipe (TM057) to any Normal Type Pokemon that uses slashing or striking attacks as a way to boost attack stats. It’s also a great move to use when catching wild Pokemon, as it brings them to 1 HP instead of making them faint.
