Here is what you will learn in this article:

What is Cheat Engine?

Cheat Engine is a downloadable software that can be used to perform various tasks. More commonly, it is used to cheat in single-player (and sometimes multiplayer) games. Cheat Engine can change certain values within a game — or, in simpler terms, Cheat Engine can change any number within a game. For example, let’s say you have $5 in a video game. Using Cheat Engine, you can modify the ‘5’ into any number you like.

And, yes, Cheat Engine DOES work with Stellaris and it CAN be used to modify all sorts of things. Scroll down to learn more.

What Does Cheat Engine Do in Stellaris?

As we have previously mentioned, you are able to use Cheat Engine with Stellaris to do a whole range of things. Need more resources, use Cheat Engine to give yourself some. Need energy; sure, use Cheat Engine to get unlimited energy!

Our simple guide below teaches you exactly how to use Cheat Engine with Stellaris.

What is a Cheat Engine Table?

Cheat Engine Tables are a simple-to-use method of cheating within a game — Cheat tables insert hacks/cheats into the game and as such, modify it. Best of all, they are completely free! Many of these Cheat Tables are created by Recifense, who, since 2008, has been creating CE Tables (Cheat Engine Tables) and sharing them for free.

Does Cheat Engine Work With Stellaris Multiplayer?

Does Cheat Engine Work with Stellaris multiplayer? Yes. Cheat Engine does, in fact, work with a multiplayer lobby in Stellaris. But does it work well? From my own experience with Cheat Engine, when changing a value within Stellaris (such as giving myself resources), the game occasionally crashes. This seemed to be confirmed when I read on Reddit that this has been happening to other people and with other video games. It seems that if you change a value too much within one attempt, the game may crash (such as giving yourself 1 Billion Rare Crystals all at once). To fix this, only give yourself stuff in small quantities — especially if you are in multiplayer.

You can download a Stellaris Cheat Engine Table using the button below. Keep in mind the link provided above ONLY works with Stellaris v1.8.2 We will keep you updated if an updated version of the Cheat Engine Table for Stellaris is released.

  1. Next, whatever value you are changing (the amount of a resource you want to change), change it within the Stellaris. You can do this by unpausing the game and waiting until the value changes, or you can spend the resource on something, thus changing it.

For example, if you had 200 Rare Minerals when you performed your first scan, you will want to change that to another number, whether 199, 201, or anything.
  2. Go back onto CHEAT ENGINE
  3. Above ‘Exact Value’ enter the new number (the value of the resource after unpausing the game and it changing)
  4. Click ‘Next Scan’
  5. Repeat Step 7 – Step 10 until you only have a few remaining values left in the ADDRESS BOX — refer to the image below to locate the ADDRESS BOX
