What Do Teams Do in Terraria?

The team mechanic in Terraria allows for players to interact differently. Firstly, it allows teammates to teleport to each other with Wormhole Potions. Moreover, it facilitates PVP (Player vs Player) Combat. Moreover, game modes like Capture the Gem utilise teams.

How to Change Teams in Terraria

To join a team in Terraria, you’ll first have to be hosting a multiplayer world.

To switch teams in Terraria, follow these steps:

  1. Open your inventory (Click ESC on keyboard)
  2. To the left of your equipment, there’ll be colored shields.
  3. Click them to join the respective team.
