Where to Find TM097 Fly
TMs or “Technical Machines” have been key items in the Pokémon series since its inception. TMs are items that allow players to teach their Pokémon special moves that they otherwise may not have been able to learn by leveling up or evolving. In Scarlet and Violet TMs are scattered through the game’s world, known as the Paldea region, available as a reward for winning critical battles, completing key sidequests, or retrieved from a hidden area on the game’s map.
TM097 can be obtained in East Province Area Two of Paldea. Locate the TM just northwest of the Team Star Fire Crew Base, and southwest of the area’s Pokémon Center.
How to Craft TM097 Fly
Crafting TMs is a special feature of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. TM Crafting is achieved by earning LP or “League Points” and collecting a specified amount of certain materials. TM097 is no different.
This TM can be crafted by earning 5,000 LP, and finding the feathers of specific flying type Pokémon–specifically 3 Squawkabilly feathers, 3 Bombardier feathers, and 3 Rufflet feathers.
Once the LP has been earned and the materials have been collected, the TM can be crafted at a TM Machine located inside Pokémon Centers near the front counter.
