Slime Rancher 2: ALL Gordo Slime Locations
This Slime Rancher guide will direct you through finding every Gordo Slime location, from the Rainbow Fields to the Ember Valley, to the Starlight Strand.
Gordo Slimes are found all around Rainbow Island and are identified by their large size. By feeding them large quantities of food, Gordo Slimes will burst and drop loot such as keys, crates, and other items. More importantly, some Gordo Slimes must be popped in order to progress in Slime Rancher 2. The number of Gordo Slimes located within a zone ranges from three to five.

Note* The second zone (Ember Valley) and third zone (Starlight Strand) are unlocked by bursting Gordos. To unlock Ember Valley, burst Pink Gordo located in The Rainbow Fields by feeding it thirty food items. To unlock Starlight Strand, burst Cotton Gordo located in The Rainbow Fields by feeding it thirty food items.
The Rainbow Fields
The Rainbow Fields are the first of three zones in Slime Rancher 2. The area contains The Conservatory and three Gordos: The Pink Gordo, Cotton Gordo, and Phosphor Gordo. Players typically progress to Ember Valley after they’re done with The Rainbow Fields.
The Ember Valley
The Ember Valley is the second of three zones in Slime Rancher 2. The area contains five Gordos: Rock Gordo, Tabby Gordo, Crystal Gordo, Batty Gordo, and Boom Gordo. Players typically progress to Starlight Strand after they’re done with Ember Valley.
Starlight Strand
Starlight Strand is the third and final zone in Slime Rancher 2. The area contains five Gordos: Hunter Gordo, Honey Gordo, Flutter Gordo, Ringtail Gordo, and Angler Gordo. Players that have completed this region have either finished or are close to finishing Slime Rancher 2.
