This page explains how to aim a crossbow in Dark Souls 3
How to Aim a Crossbow
Speaking of hitting objects, aiming with a crossbow can be a good option in Dark Souls 3 when used properly.
A player’s top goal is to play around with the controls and learn how to aim the crossbows properly. To aim long distances precisely, you can use binoculars to get a better vision of your target. You can also zoom in on the aiming reticle.
The crossbow typically goes in the direction the character is facing.
